Inspire your 7-14 year olds to think like engineers, finding solutions to real-world problems and challenges.
The Engineering Educates: Robotics Challenge is developed in partnership with UK-RAS Network; a collaboration of world-leading robotics researchers and innovators, and builds on the success of the award-winning Farmvention Challenge.
What is Engineering Educates?
A non-competitive and inclusive campaign for 7-14 year olds
A series of 8 challenges co-created with teachers
Full teacher notes and resources, aligned to curriculum objectives in Design & Technology, Science, Computing and Literacy
Inspiring practical work using the Engineering Design Cycle
Professional development delivered by subject experts and teacher specialists
Careers resources profiling diverse engineers and innovators.
All resources are designed for 7-14 year olds, and are aligned to the National Curriculum for England and the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence. Each challenge embeds the Engineering Design Cycle and use and apply learning in Design & Technology, Computing, Science and Literacy. Download the curriculum links to each challenge, from the Challenge webpages.
